I once heard it said that pearls were the most precious jewel. The reasoning was that a pearl comes from a living thing and has to undergo much hardship and trial in order to be beautiful. That describes many orphans today. Not so much that they have to undergo hardship in order to be beautiful, but rather in-spite of their hardship, they are beautiful.
The goal of this blog is to bring to the forefront children who simply need a loving family to see past their hard, and sometimes ugly, exterior and see the pearl within their soul. Each child is a gift and deserves a family who can nurture them into becoming all God has created them to be.
